Nowadays, big business does not influence the laws; It writes them. This hurts ordinary Americans who own credit cards or have student loans, for instance.

Our Country Does Not Recognize the Need for Transportation

How can I go to work if my truck breaks down and I cannot afford to fix it? My parents can't afford to fix it either. Is it really acceptable that I would have to walk for an hour and 15 minutes to a bus stop and an hour and 15 minutes back every day?

If that happens, I will be relegated to working where there is a bus route.

What about people who live in inner cities in places where there is no bus route?
